Accessibility Statement
Last updated: [to be set on publish]
SGEN is committed to making our marketing site, customer dashboard, and platform usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
This statement covers the SGEN-owned surfaces: sgen.com, dashboard.sgen.com, docs.sgen.com, and documentation.sgen.com. It does not cover sites that customers build using the SGEN platform — each customer site has its own accessibility responsibility, controlled by the customer.
Standard we work to
We target conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA for all SGEN-owned surfaces.
WCAG 2.1 AA is the international reference standard for web accessibility. It covers perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness across visual, motor, cognitive, and assistive-technology scenarios.
Current status
We continuously work to improve accessibility. Known gaps as of the date of this statement are tracked internally and worked through in priority order. We do not claim full conformance — we claim active, documented progress toward it.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML so screen readers can interpret structure.
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content where the content conveys information.
- Maintain sufficient colour contrast in our visual design system.
- Support keyboard-only navigation for primary flows in the customer dashboard.
- Test major releases with automated accessibility tooling and periodic manual review.
What customers control
Sites built on SGEN are configurable by the customer. The customer is responsible for:
- alt text on images they upload
- meaningful link text in the content they author
- sufficient colour contrast in their design choices
- accessible form labels in forms they build
- captions on video and audio media they publish
Reporting an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier on an SGEN-owned surface, write to accessibility@sgen.com with:
- the URL where the issue occurs
- a description of what you experienced
- the browser, operating system, and assistive technology (if any) you were using
Alternatives
If you cannot complete a task on an SGEN-owned surface because of an accessibility barrier and you need urgent help, write to support@sgen.com with a description of what you are trying to do. We will work with you to complete it through an alternative path.
